Community Amenities



Lyle G. Hall Community Pool & BASKETBALL COURts

The Lyle G. Hall Community Pool is open from June until August.  Depths range from 2' to 12'.  There is also a concession stand and water slide.  Special programs include swim lessons, night swims, and other special events.  Daily and weekly admission or seasonal membership available through the Ridgway Borough.

Next door to the pool are the Frank Clark Memorial Basketball Courts - two full sized courts, free and open to the public.

Ridgway YMCA

The Ridgway YMCA offers a full range of programs and fitness amenities including racquetball, swimming, basketball, weights, aerobics, pilates, yoga and more.

Open Monday through Saturday, the YMCA offers guest passes and monthly membership for children, adults and families.  For more information visit the YMCA's website.

Tennis courts

The Ridgway Area Middle/High School has three full-size tennis courts that are free and open to public in the fall, spring, and summer.

 

Parks and Recreation


O.B. Grant Park

Wooded community park located in Ridgway's West End neighborhood.  Fenced and includes a children's playground. A great spot to relax, have a picnic or feed the squirrels.



Sandy Beach

Located just three miles west of Ridgway, Sandy Beach Park offers pavilion rentals, fishing, baseball and softball fields. Coming soon…Mountain Bike Trail connecting to the Laurel Mill Trails (hiking and cross-country skiing).

Clarion-Little Toby Rails-to-Trails

Bike it, Hike it, Ski it! This 18-mile attraction in downtown Ridgway runs from Ridgway to Brockway on a flat scenic trail.  Open year round.

RIDC and Ridgway-AID

Ridgway Industrial Development Corporation and Ridgway Area Industrial Development are sister non profit organizations that support the economic growth of the Ridgway Area by developing, acquiring land, and multi- tenant facilities, for mixed use.
